Justice League: 10 Biggest Questions It Leaves Unanswered

9. Why Was The Flash So Different In Batman V Superman?

Although it didn't make any sense at the time, The Flash's quick appearance to warn Bruce Wayne that "Lois Lane is the key" in BvS came to prophesise her role in calming down Supes after his wrathful resurrection in Justice League.

What the character says makes sense in the context of the new film, but there's no explanation as to why The Flash looks completely different in this earlier scene, sporting a beard and acting like more of a confident superhero than he is in the latest movie.

Likewise, Justice League never actually explains why the Scarlet Speedster needed to go back in time to tell Bruce Wayne that Lois Lane was the key in the first place, as surely he could have figured out on his own that the one person who could calm down an angry Supes would be his own girlfriend?

Was this a Flash from an alternate universe where Superman returned evil, or is it the same hero we see in the latest film? Fans may never know the answer, as the question was ignored entirely in Justice League.
