Justice League: 10 Biggest Questions It Leaves Unanswered

6. Has Superman Been Changed By The Motherbox?

Although Superman's inevitable resurrection in Justice League has been shrouded in secrecy for months, the actual resolution of this mysterious narrative thread is pretty straightforward in the final movie. Instead of being a surprise, a good chunk of the second act is focused on bringing Clark back from the dead, with Batman deciding to use the motherbox and the power of the Kryptonian ship to bring his new best bud back to life.

This is all against the wishes of Wonder Woman, who argues that using a power as volatile as the motherbox - never mind messing around with the natural law of the universe - could end up bringing Supes back changed, more of a threat than Steppenwolf ever could be. The fears are seemingly confirmed when Clark wakes up, immediately attacks the rest of the team and asks Batman the same menacing question he posed in the previous movie: "Do you bleed?"

However, once he sees Lois all that's forgotten about and Superman turns into the nicest version of the character we've seen in the DCEU so far. It's a sudden 180, and if there are any lingering effects from his corpse's sudden reanimation, they're nowhere to be found in this movie.
