Justice League: 10 Dumb Plot Holes That Derailed The Film
4. Barry Allen's Living An Impossible Superhero Life
When Bruce Wayne visits Barry Allen in order to enlist him as a member of the Justice League, Allen is already living in a converted warehouse superhero lab - despite the fact he's definitely not acting like a superhero in the outside world.
Allen also has a fully-fledged costume, which makes no sense at all: how would Allen have managed to construct such a complicated outfit with no money and no means to actually build it? And for what purpose does he have it, even? Allen isn't using the thing, it's just sitting there, almost as though the screenwriters couldn't be bothered to write a scene where Batman built it for.... oh.
Even if you could find a way to explain the financial side of whatever Allen has going on here, explaining the contrived appearance of the suit is near impossible
Another irksome plot issue in this scene, also, occurs in the moment where Batman throws a Batarang at Barry to test whether or not he's actually super-powered. What if Barry hadn't been the Flash, or hadn't been able to react for some reason? Batman would have killed an innocent kid! Food for thought.
