Justice League: 10 Insane Fan Theories You Need To See

8. The Movie Takes Place In Two Different Realities

One of the most interesting aspects of the Justice League footage we've seen so far has been the decidedly alien-looking environments and worlds.

Red skies, huge, metallic structures, and Batman grappling through some rocky terrain while being shot at by a Parademon - it's hard to tell exactly what's going on.

The latest trailer raised even more questions, with shots of this chase sequence...

...appearing later on, this time with a red hue.

Of course, the chase could be taking place in a single reality and the red colour could be the result of some alien phenomenon, but what if there's more going on?

This is what Reddit user nowhdaking is positing, based on the sheer number of locations the trailers have presented thus far.

He/she believes that Justice League will take place in two different worlds, or realities. This is to familiarize audiences with the concept, before it's taken to the next level in the upcoming Flashpoint movie.

This theory is given further credence when you consider that Alfred states "I don't recognise this world" in the latest trailer. It's unclear what he's referring to, but if he has ended up in some alternate reality or different version of Earth, then his statement is rather apt.
