Justice League: 10 Recent Developments You Need To Know About
6. Wonder Woman 'Knows The Enemy Better Than Anyone'
It's been several months since Wonder Woman's barnstorming solo debut, and lead actress Gal Gadot has offered an update regarding her character's development between then and the beginning of Justice League.
In the DC Extended Universe, an entire century has since elapsed, so it comes as no surprise to hear that she's matured in that time, but some of Gadot's comments hint at deeper plot points.
She told Us Weekly...
She’s grown up - it’s been a century, after all! She’ll bring her specific qualities to a group dynamic, and she understands the enemy better than anyone else.
It's the 'knowing the enemy better than anyone' part which is really interesting, as it could be a hint that the Amazons have dealt with this kind of threat before. Long-running rumours suggest Justice League will include a flashback sequence involving an earlier Apokoliptian invasion, and this adds fuel to them.
On the other hand, Gadot could be referencing Wonder Woman's experience with the Olympian Gods, which makes her a seasoned veteran at battling deities compared to the rest of the group.
Either way, she's going to be absolutely vital to the team.
