The Batman of the DC Extended Universe was a cold, brooding loner when he was first introduced but, inspired by Superman's sacrifice, he was showing signs of softening up by the end of Dawn of Justice.

Ben Affleck recently opened up about how Justice League will build on this, revealing that his Caped Crusader is now keen to forge friendships, mentorships and alliances.

He told US Weekly...

“In Batman v Superman, he was at the end of his rope. But in Justice League, he’s finding hope again. He has to open up and play well with others. He knows he needs them.“He’s sort of the ultimate loner, but he’s really trying to make it work and develop a good relationship with all of them. He might be a mentor to The Flash.”

The Justice League trailers clearly show Batfleck's blossoming mentorship with The Flash. Barry Allen's speedster appears to be in awe of Bats, and who wouldn't be?

It will be interesting to see the Dark Knight playing well with others again. No doubt this will pave the way for the return of the Bat Family in the DCEU, which has Batgirl and Nightwing solo films in the pipeline.
