22. Jim Gordon

Confirmed By: Well, he's in the trailer, for a start.

Plot Prediction:

It would make sense that JK Simmons' Commissioner Gordon would play the same role he always has to Batman - the official link between the Dark Knight and Gotham's police forces (and his friend, of course). It was initially rumoured that he was dead by the time Batman v Superman kicked off, but Simmons' casting proved that to be utter BS.

Simmons has said that Gordon will only be involved in a couple of scenes, and we already know probably the most important thanks to a set visit.

The outlets invited to the set learned that Gordon informs the Justice League (minus Aquaman, who hasn't yet been recruited) of a nest of Parademons in a tunnel under Gotham that leads to the Nightcrawler battle sequence we saw in the trailer.
