Justice League Leaked Script: 10 Things We Learned

0 Final The Justice League - Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, the Flash... All of the DC universe's greatest heroes uniting in a single team. In theory, this should be a sure-fire hit of a franchise for Warner Brothers, the parent-company of DC. In practice, however, the film version of the superfriends' team up has had a rough life. The first attempt to put the team together on the big screen was in 2007, when Justice League: Mortal, a script written by Kieran and Michele Mulroney, the duo behind 2009's Paper Man and 2011 Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, was set to be directed by George Miller. The studio was hoping to film in Australia before the 2007-2008 writer's strike, reportedly considering doing the entire film in motion capture (in the style of Beowulf, which at that time returned the previously dead fad of 3D cinema). The movie ended up being scrapped, and we had very little details on the content of the would-be blockbuster until the script leaked earlier this month. Here are a few things we learned about what a Justice League film would have looked like in 2008. To give you a point of reference, The Dark Knight, which to many audiences redefined what a superhero movie is, came out the same year.
