9. The Handy Spit Up

When Kebbell's Jack Chapman is killed and eaten after wandering around listlessly after he's separated from everyone else, one of the Skull Crawlers eats him whole and goes back to its hollow earth den.

Later, when the massive idiots that form the human cast decide to cross right next to the opening to this den, which is literally strewn with bones of creatures far bigger and better at not being eaten than them, this comes back into play.

Because stupidly, the killer creature actually spits up Chapman's head right into Conrad's lap, complete with his dog tags (DESPITE HIM NOT HAVING A NECK, FOR GOD'S SAKE), in order for him to handily find out that Chapman is dead. This is useful for helping cement Packard's villain turn - as he doesn't really care for the info - but there has to have been a less idiotic way to do it, surely?
