15. Get The Girl

The interest of Pierce and the Reavers may often be Wolverine in the comics, but here he's perfunctory. The real target is Laura, the mysterious mutant girl he's looking after.
Pierce instructs one of the Reavers to "get the girl", although we don't know exactly what it is they want with her. It may be they plan on running some tests, turning her into a weapon they can use, or stealing her cornflakes - but just as possible is that they want to destroy her before she grows up.

It doesn't really go to plan, however, as Laura emerges still standing and free. And, briefly, you can see her carrying the severed head of the man sent to get her. Nice.
