On 2 October 2017, Glass finally started shooting, as per a tweet on Shyamalan's official Twitter account.

The very first scene to be shot was scene 42, but beyond that, we don't know anything about the nature of the shooting that's currently taking place, or which characters are involved.

What we do know is that the shoot is estimated to last 39 days, information Shyamalan revealed in a separate tweet.

This means any reshoots will take place early next year, but regardless, Glass is well on track to make its planned 2019 release date.

Danny has been with WhatCulture for almost nine years, and is currently Doctor Who Editor and WhoCulture Channel Manager, overseeing all of WhatCulture's Whoniverse coverage. He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
