Marvel Cinematic Universe: 10 Heroes Nobody Thought Of Adding Yet (But Who Would Be Awesome)

4. Vance Astro

Vance Astro Vance Astrovik was so obsessed with space that he legally changed his surname to Astro. After becoming a major in the U.S. Air Force (and a very capable hand-to-hand combatant), he volunteered to be an astronaut for the first long-term interstellar space mission. He was put in suspended animation and sent to the nearest star system, Alpha Centauri. Upon his arrival, he was amazed to find that humanity had beaten him there by 200 years, having developed a faster-than-light drive since the time he left. When the alien race known as the Badoon attacked his new world, killing nearly everyone on it, Astro found that he could release "brain-blasts" of destructive telekinetic power, and he would become a member of the future version of the freedom fighters known as the Guardians of the Galaxy, who eventually led a rebellion that drove the Badoon from both the Solar and Centauri systems. The Guardians would travel around time and space fighting evil and Astro would find his hero Captain America's shield in the future. Wielding it, he called himself Major Victory. He would later find himself encased in ice and temporally displaced, where he would be discovered by the present day versions of the Guardians of the Galaxy, who he would join forces with - it is this particular story that would make for a great MCU arc.
