8. Odin Thinking Thor Was Ready To Rule - (Thor)
Following on from the last point, a strongly-related dumb assumption comes from Odin himself. Why the Allfather couldn't see that Thor wasn't ready to rule Asgard is baffling. The God of Thunder was clearly too naive, too immature and too rash to be put in a such a position of power at that point in his life - and his attack on Jotunheim was all the evidence needed to make that perfectly clear. For someone so wise - and someone who had been closer to Thor than anyone for his entire life - to misjudge Thor so badly regarding such a massive decision is just crazy. Thor clearly had the potential to become king - as he would later prove - but anyone capable of making such a stupid decision at the point of his original coronation should not have been considered as someone worthy of ruling a realm.
