4. Quicksilver
Died In: Avengers: Age Of Ultron
Despite being armed with a legitimate beef against Tony Stark, the sheer number of characters being juggled in the film meant that audiences didn't get a whole lot of time to get to know Pietro beyond that motivation. Fortunately, his turn from villain to hero was earned and what time he did get on screen was entertaining.
As Ultron flew around shooting at everyone he could during the final battle, his sights turned to Hawkeye and a young boy he was in the midst of rescuing. Pietro raced in to get the pair out of the way, which he did, only to find himself riddled with bullets as a reward, the life of one of the newest Avengers being extinguished just as he had begun proving himself a true hero.
