Now, given the dangling plot thread left at the end of Ant-Man concerning the fate of Hank Pym's wife Janet, it's quite likely that the sequel will be centred mainly around the microverse, the system of worlds that open up when you really shrink your ass off. There's an old Marvel villain who used to rule whole civilisations in the microverse: Psycho-Man. Now, he might be considered a Fantastic Four villain (and therefore out of bounds, the rights in 20th Century Fox's grimy, twisted paws), but by my reckoning he fought the Inhumans and Black Panther first. And, come to that, aren't the Inhumans themselves mostly FF characters? It's a tangled web... Psycho-Man is exactly what Pym feared might happen if his technology fell into the wrong hands. He's even got a fear/hallucinations device, making him a quite literal nightmare. In the comics, he needs a place for his empire to expand into, and decides to invade the macroverse (aka, the real, lifesize world). Sounds like a kingsized villain for Ant-Man and The Wasp to overcome... although he might need a minor tweak to his name. Psycho-Man is a little too 'Silver Age' for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As far as casting is concerned, Psycho-Man is kind of mostly a tyrant in a suit of armour, so his voice is probably the most important thing. Now yes, tall English drink of fizzy water Peter Serafinowicz has been in a Marvel movie before - as doomed Nova Corps officer Denarian Saal - but that was a small role, and all it'd take is a false beard or some glasses to fool the bovine cinematic audience. More importantly, he's a voice actor of some considerable talent as well - he's the voice of Darth Maul, amongst many others. Silky smooth, menacing tones and deep penetrating eyes... yep, he'll do.
