Marvel Phase 4: 10 Mistakes Marvel Studios Has Already Made

6. Too Much, Too Soon With Disney+?

The Disney+ streaming service needs new content, and Marvel Studios is providing plenty of it. TV shows like The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, WandaVision, Loki, What If?, Hawkeye, Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, and She-Hulk are all confirmed as being on the way, while there are reportedly a number of others also in the early stages.

That's an awful lot of content to develop for a studio which is now releasing three or four movies a year, and with Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige in charge of essentially all things Marvel these days, there's a very strong chance he could soon be stretched too thin.

It's also been confirmed that these TV shows will be essential viewing to understand what's happening on screen (both Loki and WandaVision tie into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness), and it really doesn't feel like Marvel Studios is taking its time here. Instead, they're jumping right in, and that could lead to casual moviegoers finding themselves feeling alienated if they don't watch EVERYTHING.

That's not a good way to keep people visiting cinemas, and testing the waters with just one or two shows to start with might have been a smarter decision to make sure they get this right.
