3. So What Happened?
After years of frustration within Marvel Studios, it seems that tension over the upcoming Captain America: Civil War finally got to Feige, who reportedly threatened to walk if things didn't change. As a result, Feige no longer answers to Perlmutter; instead, he'll be reporting to the much more open Alan Horn, chairman of Walt Disney Studios who the heads at Pixar and Lucasfilm also report to.
On top of this, the Creative Committee has apparently dissolved, freeing Feige and the film side of Marvel Studios from the shackles of limitation put upon them by Perlmutter. However, Rich Johnston over at Bleeding Cool does a good job at breaking down the issues over Age Of Ultron's production, highlighting the fact that there's at least two sides to every conflict, even if the more public view on this one is in Feige's favor.
