Marvel fans rejoice, Daredevil is coming home. Even now, even after the release of the likes of WandaVision, Loki, and everything else on Disney+, Daredevil is widely regarded as the greatest Marvel TV series ever put on screen.

Matt Murdoch returned briefly in Spider-Man: No Way Home, a moment that sent fans into pandemonium, but now the Man Without Fear will return proper in Daredevil: Born Again. Naturally, being joined by Vincent D’Onofrio, there have been questions about the show’s continuity.

Over on Netflix, Daredevil ran for three incredible seasons, as well featuring in the ultimately disappointing Defenders crossover. However, in an interview with extraTV at D23, Charlie Cox confirmed that Born Again would be ‘a season 1, not a season 4.’ This then, will be a fresh Matt Murdoch and a fresh Wilson Fisk, untethered by the Netflix series before.

While this kind of fresh start could be a good thing, there are fans naturally concerned about the dark and gritty character being diluted and “Disney-fied”. The character’s upcoming cameo in She-Hulk may go some way to telling just how different this version will be, but for the time being, let’s just all be happy he is back.
