MCU: 10 Most Shocking Moments In Marvel Movies So Far

3. Meeting Spider-Man

When the trailer for Captain America: Civil War was released, fans lost it. Cap vs Iron Man? Stunning. Black Panther? Crazy. Spider-Man, who we’d already seen before on screen five times? Downright insane.

Sure, Tobey Maguire’s goofy version was great and Andrew Garfield wasn’t bad either, even if the Amazing Spiderman series was, but neither had the two things that Tom Holland’s Spidey showed off in that trailer.

The first is a child-like charm that immediately transforms him into something out of the comic books. A sense of humour is part of the character and Holland nails it better than Maguire and Garfield in just one clip.

The second? The suit. Never before has a Spidey suit looked so damn wearable. Tight and techy, Holland rocked it. The eyes opening sent fans into a meltdown and the release of Spiderman: Homecoming gave us an even better look at it. Kill and stun modes, 576 different combinations and an AI assistant called Karen make it a suit to remember.

Sport and Film. I love them both. And I'm extremely lucky to write about two of my biggest passions in life. Most of the time, I'm at the Daily Express newspaper writing about football, tennis and F1. But, when I'm out of there, I let my imagination run wild and pen down my thoughts on the film series' I love. WhatCulture gives me the chance to write about the movie industry - an industry I really care about. And for that, I'm extremely grateful. And hope you, if you're reading this, enjoy what I think about stuff.
