MCU: 10 Truly Insane Crossovers We Need To See
3. Blade Meets Blade
1998's Blade doesn't get enough love for the ground it broke for all the big comic book movies that followed. While Bryan Singer's X-Men and Sam Raimi's Spider-Man are given all the credit for jump starting the modern era of comic book adaptations by delivering grounded takes on their material, Blade did it first.
Although the Blade Trilogy started off exceptionally well with the one-two punch of Blade and Blade II, David S. Goyer's howlingly-bad Blade Trinity put a stake in the franchise's heart. But, now, as the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer proves, everything old is new again.
Mahershala Ali is set to reinvent Blade, but whose to say he can't get tips from the original Daywalker, Wesley Snipes?
Its time that Snipes is given a chance to give his take on blade a proper send-off. A Snipes appearance in a multiverse crossover would be a great way to pay homage to one of the founding films of the modern comic book movie era while also breaking new ground in the tradition of the first two Blade films.
