MCU: 10 Underrated X-Men Who Should Lead Instead Of Wolverine

Onto the characters who didn’t get their chance when Fox was at the helm. The biggest mutant names will likely be joining the MCU too, but Marvel will probably introduce some newbies into the mix as well.

If they do, they could certainly do worse than Welsh mutant Pixie.

One of the newer X-Men, debuting in just 2004, Pixie could fit right in with the new eccentric tone of the MCU, brought by Ragnarok and likely to be upheld by Multiverse Of Madness. Her supernatural and mystical qualities give her a bit of an edge too.

Pixie is one of the most ‘fairytale’ superheroes around, in keeping with her bright pink hair and thin insect wings. This is complemented by her ‘pixie dust’; a light powder which causes hallucinations in others. There’s massive opportunity for Marvel to go wild with this on screen. Some of their movies have had absolutely brilliant VFX, and with Pixie the only limit would be their imagination.

The Souldagger storyline would mean introducing Magik and lot more focus on supernatural characters, but with Blade set to arrive, that may be happening anyway. A definite possibility if they explore this side of the comics.
