If you can't remember off the top of your head what Captain America's post-credits scene is, don't feel bad, because it basically doesn't really have one.

Rather, a teaser trailer for The Avengers is instead shoved at the end of the movie, featuring a trimmed-down chat between Cap and Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) ahead of a sizzle reel hyping up the superhero team-up movie for the following summer.

It was awesome at the time, unquestionably, though it does seem a little on the lazier side in retrospect. If a current MCU movie simply featured a trailer for an upcoming attraction, fans would be super disappointed.
