12. How The Hell Does Scott Have Those Skills?!

When we meet Scott Lang, we find out his backstory - he was an electrical engineer (with a Masters) who has an attack of conscience when he discovers that the company he is working for is ripping customers off. He was fired and then decided to break into the system to refund the victims.

That's all a great backstory, of course, but at no point in there does it explain how the hell he became a master thief. He's a hacker - sure - but how did he learn how to break into safes? How did he become an expert burglar when he was essentially just a genius dork? It feels like a huge missing element.
