Arguably the two most important Avengers in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe came together for the first time in 2012, and immediately butted heads. It seemed at first that Steve Rogers and Tony Stark were just too different to ever be able to get along.

They were at opposite ends of the spectrum in just about everything, even down to the time in which they grew up. While Steve Rogers was a product of the early 20th century, Tony Stark was brought up in a world and a house at the very forefront of technology.

This was cleverly reflected in the way Nick Fury treated them, in particular with how he passed on information. Through Agent Coulson, he gave to Iron Man a huge digital file that he was able to expand with the flick of his wrist and skim through on floating screens.

Can you imagine how confused Steve would have been had he been handed this kind of file? He was still struggling to get a basic grasp on life in the 21st century, and so Nick Fury helped him out by handing him a good old paper file. A little more within the comfort zone of Captain America.
