An entire article can be devised for comedic moments found in Thor Ragnarok, as the third instalment in the Thor franchise injected some much needed hilarity to make up for the dull entry that was The Dark World. One moment that may fall under the radar is the first interaction between Thor, Loki, and the Grandmaster. To call it weirdly hysterical would be an understatement.

After crash landing on the alien planet Sakaar, and taken to the Grandmaster as a bounty by Valkyrie, Thor is reunited with his brother Loki. The siblings try to both reason with one another in regards to how they got to Sakaar, before being politely interrupted by the eccentric ruler of Sakaar. While Thor remains captive, and Loki remains equally taken aback, the Grandmaster proceeds to explain how time works.

He says that on any other planet, he'd be millions of years old. On Sakaar, however, the Grandmaster answers with a very strange, yet equally hilarious motion of the eyes and forced smile. Audiences can literally feel the utter confusion felt by both Asgardians, with Loki's expression being laugh out loud in particular.

If there was ever a film in the MCU that could be described as a meme, Thor Ragnarok would fit that bill. Every character has their fair share of hilarious moments, but the Grandmaster took what it meant to be hysterical to new, very bizarre heights.
