MCU: 9 Best Character Arcs In The Infinity Saga
3. Loki Turning Face
Good old Loki: Who'd have thought fans would be saying that during Avengers Assemble? But here we are. The God of Mischief's path to redemption was one of the most compelling long-games of the MCU. And the resolve has caused Loki to become one of the best and most engaging characters of the franchise.
Audiences always knew that Loki was never the end-all of Marvel villainy. Even at his height of evil, there was always that glimmer of hope in the eyes of the adopted son of Odin. But the trick was convincing audiences that this good side was too far beyond reach.
But, how wrong we were. Seeing Loki fight on the noble side of the battle for Asgard in Thor Ragnarok, was arguably one of the most cathartic scenes in the entire franchise. But his ultimate face-turn moment was clear and present when audiences finally witnessed him sticking it to his benefactor, Thanos, at the price of his own life.
And yet, thanks to Endgame, he's still out there, Tesseract in hand and somewhat evil again. Time to start the journey over, but we all know he can do it.
