Song: Hooked On A Feeling Film: Guardians Of The Galaxy The opening track on Guardians Of The Galaxy: Awesome Mix Vol 1, the insanely successful soundtrack album that accompanied the films release, was by Swedish rock band Blue Swede. Their track Hooked On A Feeling, which is a cover of a 1968 B.J. Thomas pop song, reached number one on the United States charts in 1974.
