13. Raspberries
Song: Go All The Way Film: Guardians of the Galaxy An American pop rock band formed in 1970 Cleveland, Ohio, Raspberries also appear on Awesome Mix Vol 1 with their song Go All The Way. They enjoyed success early in the decade, receiving rave reviews from AllMusic for their "exquisitely crafted melodies and achingly gorgeous harmonies. They werent welcomed with open arms by all corners of music fandom, however, with their image being seen as a little too clean-cut by some. Their teeny bopper haircuts and matching suits were perhaps a little dated, with The Beatles having left that look in the 60s and the explosion of punk just around the corner.
