11. David Bowie

Song: Moonage Daydream Film: Guardians Of The Galaxy Just as Ghostface Killah was included in the Iron Man films, it seemed only fitting to have some David Bowie on the Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack. His 1972 single Starman followed his monster hit Space Oddity, and the out-of-this-world theme continued into the decade with his The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars album. His song about an alien messiah whose destiny is to save the world from impending doom Moonage Daydream was from that very album and complimented the film perfectly, being used as the Guardians arrive in Knowhere, an interdimensional crossroads and scientific observatory.
