MCU: Every Phase Three Post Credit Scene Ranked Worst To Best

After the events of Civil War, Bucky Barnes was put on ice in Wakanda until such a time that he could finally be cured of the Winter Soldier laying dormant in his mind. By the time Black Panther was released two years later, there was no update on the condition of Cap's best friend.

This was changed with a post-credit scene in Ryan Coogler's hit, where we see Bucky, now referred to as the White Wolf, interacting with Shuri in a calm manner, under control of his own mind and actions. This served no other purpose than to update the audience on Bucky's condition, and confirm that he would have a part to play in the upcoming Infinity War.

No real surprise here, as it is what was generally expected anyway.
