Most (although admittedly not all) of what has occurred in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to date has occurred on the East coast of the United States of America. The bulk of both Captain America movies, the Hulk movie and, of course, the Battle of New York in the Avengers movie took place in either Washington D.C. and New York City, while the upcoming Doctor Strange is also based in New York. The upcoming Ant-Man movie is set to be based over on the West coast, however, and Iron Man - in spite of Avengers Tower being in New York - clearly has homes out in L.A., so there is potential for more action to take place there. With so many heroes being introduced (in a few movies' time, there will be Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow, Hawkeye, War Machine, Falcon, The Winter Soldier, Mockingbird, Ant-Man, Vision, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, Black Panther, Doctor Strange and Captain Marvel, without even touching on supporting players), the possibility of splitting them up in to two teams seems realistic. The location of Ant-Man and the fact that the comic book West Coast Avengers have included a number of characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe could result in there being two different live action Avengers teams by the time Phase 4 comes around. So there you have it - ten huge surprises that could occur in Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 3. Did you enjoy this article? Do you agree with the entries on this list?
