10. A Deeper Understanding & Further Development Of Black Widow & Hawkeye

One of the biggest criticisms of the Marvel Cinematic Universe to date is the lack of screen time for Hawkeye and the lack of character development and exploration of the origins of both Hawkeye and Black Widow. Clint Barton has, thus far, been limited to a cameo in Thor and an appearance in the Avengers movie - the majority of which he spent serving Loki under the villain's control - while Black Widow has appeared in Iron Man 2, the Avengers movie and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Having not been given their own movies, it was expected that at least one of them would get a solo movie in Phase 3 that would explore their pasts - but it wasn't to be. While both characters are expected to get plenty of screen time in Phase 3, it seems unlikely that there'll be many opportunities to actually develop them and look in to their pasts, what with everything else going on.
