MCU Phase 4: 10 Mind-Blowing Secrets & Theories You Need To Know

4. The Dark Avengers

The Dark Avengers
Marvel Comics

Instead of the Young Avengers, we could instead get the Dark Avengers: evil versions of the original Avengers six. It would introduce a notable villain team up while still letting the dust settle on Thanos before introducing a major big bad into the equation.

As for who the evil twisted versions would be, some are easier than others. Black Widow could hold the answer though; not only to her own evil version (potentially Yelena), but also Captain America’s (Red Guardian) and even Hawkeye’s (Taskmaster). Bullseye might seem a better fit for Hawkeye, but then Taskmaster is set for a more natural introduction.

For the other three, it does become more difficult. Many villains have their roots in hating Tony Stark, but Justin Hammer is an unresolved character with a clear beef, and in Sam Rockwell, a major name attached. Hulk’s evil alternate may involve digging deep too, as Abomination feels the clear choice. That just leaves Thor... maybe an Eternal?

The God Of Thunder is the hardest to match up in the current MCU crop, but there’s definitely options. The MCU has a plethora of options awaiting them.
