2. A Touch Of The Supernatural

Though Marvel fans everywhere will be able to agree that they're in a uniquely privileged position to see all the cosmic elements of the comics brought to life in live action, there is something to be said about diversifying the genre, and ensuring the MCU doesn't become a one-note franchise. There are dozens of different genres at play in Marvel's comics, and though Disney have done well to represent a few key ones thus far, there is one that's managed to elude their big screen outings: the supernatural.

Barring Doctor Strange, which has a hint of the cosmic about it anyway, Marvel Studios are yet to fully explore their own supernatural source material. The likes of Blade and Ghost Rider are some of Marvel's most popular properties, with the former having obviously laid the foundations for the superhero movie genre as it exists today, and the latter having gained notoriety through two misjudged blockbusters fronted by Nicholas Cage.

However, discussions surrounding the characters appearing in the MCU proper haven't ever really been prioritised. Robbie Reyes' Rider appeared in some of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s best episodes, but the prospect of the character making the leap to the big screen - it would seem - hasn't looked an enticing one to the House of Mouse.

There's so much potential to be had in that corner of the universe though, and if Marvel wish to ensure their onscreen universe retains a sense of unpredictability, injecting it with a case of vampirism and throwing in some demons for good measure would be a welcome move.
