Ms. Marvel is a character who, like Moon Knight, has been teased by the folks at Marvel Studios in recent months. The chatter has gotten fans everywhere excited, with Kamala Khan having starred in some of Marvel's best comics since her introduction in 2013.
Following in the footsteps of her idol Carol Danvers (who once went by the Ms. Marvel identity prior to her switch to Captain), Khan assumes the colours of Mar-Vel and takes up super-heroics in the wake of the dispersal of the Terrigen Mists. In the comics, the Mists tapped into the abilities of those with Inhuman ancestry. Kamala, the surprise descendant of the group of super-beings, ends up developing the ability to shape-shift, even going on to become a member of the Champions and later the Avengers too.
Feige has gone on record saying that Marvel Studios have plans to introduce Kamala after Captain Marvel, so expect her to appear either in the sequel, or in some other Marvel ensemble releasing afterwards.

In his current role, Ewan incorporates his love of cinema, comic books, and history into written pieces and video essays for WhatCulture's Film & TV channel, as well as WhatCulture Gaming and WhatCulture Horror, with a particular focus on nineties-era Dad Movies, old school Westerns, and Golden Age Hollywood Noir.
