6. Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 3

Status: Confirmed

If it wasn't for all of that unpleasantness with James Gunn being fired and then Warner Bros opportunistically hiring him to make The Suicide Squad, we might already have the third Guardians movie set as part of Phase 4. Sadly for anyone excitedly waiting for more in that universe, Gunn's obligations with the DC's Worst Heroes Ever have to be completed first.

We know that the story is likely to follow Star-Lord's desire to find Gamora after that was teased at the end of Endgame and while Thor was going to be involved, he's probably not now with Thor: Love & Thunder coming first and requiring his return to Earth. There's also the small matter of the Sovereign, Ayesha's vengeance and Adam Warlock.

It'll probably close the book on this set of Guardians too, which is a sad observation to make, but it might not be the end of them entirely.
