8. Korg & Miek

The most surprisingly successful element of Thor: Ragnarok were its moments of comedy. When Marvel hired Taika Waititi for the job, we should all really have known what to expect, given his track record for laughs and he delivered the right amount to balance the dramatic stakes.

That included introducing Korg and Miek, two of The Hulk's fellow warriors on Sakaar who easily stole the show from any of the characters with more screen time. Thanks to Waititi's vocal performance as Korg in particular, they were hilarious and their relationship demands further exploration.

It could easily work as a prequel, with their warbound adventures prior to arrival on Sakaar in focus - just as long as it's directed by Taika Waititi and it's fundamentally a comedy. That's non-negotiable.
