4. The Defenders
We're exactly one series into the Netflix corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but ever since the studio announced their plans for the Defenders, the anticipation has hardly waned for its eventual arrival. Add to that the sheer quality of Daredevil's first season and it only served to make the wait feel even further away.
As mentioned, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist all still have to make their debuts before they can team up with Daredevil, which means the arrival of the Defenders' miniseries itself is still quite a ways off, likely in 2017. Still, though, what fan finds it difficult to get excited at the idea of seeing those characters eventually coming together in a world populated by the Kingpin, the Punisher, Elektra, the Purple Man and so many more yet to come?
On top of it all, the popularity of the Defenders could instantly pave the way for them breaking out onto the big screen. With all the desire to have gotten Daredevil into Civil War in the wake of his first season's success, one can imagine Marvel would seriously consider turning rumours into reality to find a place for the Defenders to fit in somewhere alongside the Avengers when the street-level team proves popular.
