MCU Spider-Man 4: 8 Things We Need To See
5. A More Sinister Villain (Or Six)
Fan theories were rife in the run up to Spider-Man: No Way Home that the confirmed appearances of Lizard, Doc Ock, Green Goblin, Sandman and Electro were just one member short of being the Sinister Six.
While audiences remained one supervillain shy of a Sinister Six in No Way Home’s final battle, it seems inevitable that one day the evil sextet will end up on the big screen.
In the comics, the group was originally founded by Doctor Otto Octavius although his redemption in No Way Home could count him out on any future villainous MCU appearances.
While there have been dozens of members throughout the history of the Sinister Six, one villain still alive and very much a foe is Vulture, often the leader of the villainous gang, and with Michael Keaton set to reprise his role in Sony’s upcoming Morbius movie, he could be recruiting a new group of bandits.
Other famous comic villains to be part of the Sinister Six include Chameleon, Boomerang, Beetle, Grim Reaper, Carnage, Hobgoblin and even Venom.
Following on from the Venom: Let There Be Carnage post-credits tease of a Spider-Man and Venom crossover, many fans were left speculating if the symbiote would complete No Way Home’s roster of baddies to make a Sinister Six.
But while a Venom team-up seems almost inevitable, we would put our money on Peter Parker and Eddie Brock pair initially fighting over the symbiote before uniting to defeat some other unknown foe.
