MCU: What Happened To Everyone Who Held The Mind Stone?

As Thanos fought against the combined might of pretty much every superhero ever introduced in the MCU, he nearly succeeded in his goal of obtaining the glove outfitted with the Infinity Stones. The battle is long and protracted with numerous heroes going head-to-head with the Mad Titan.

He doesn't manage to get them all at once with the intent of reshaping the entire Universe in his image until the very end when he battles against Tony Stark. The two fight to the bitter end with the aid of Captain America and Thor, but when it comes to a head, Thanos got his hands on the glove.

He snapped his fingers only to find out that nothing happened. The villain then realized that he may have gotten the glove, but all of the Infinity Stones were missing. This was thanks to Tony's quick move, which managed to grab the Stones and fit them onto his own gloved hand.

He then looked up at Thanos and uttered the line, "I am Iron Man" before snapping his fingers to use the Infinity Stones for the final time in the MCU. Thanos, and his entire army were then removed from existence, and Iron Man died from the effort of using the Infinity Stones.

This was the last time anyone used any of them, and it would then fall on Cap to return them throughout time to their appropriate places, which closed the door on the Infinity Stones in the MCU.
