Undeniably a blessing as opposed to a burden, Scott Eastwood has become a Hollywood mainstay but has never quite been able to escape his father’s shadow. Son of Hollywood heavyweight and icon Clint Eastwood, it would be near impossible to replicate the same stardom his father carries, however, Scott certainly possesses’ traits that could make for a great Wolverine.

Blessed with the Weapon X aesthetic and physique, the 36-year-old's casting could reward him the chance to embody a legendary character as well as a leading man, a role that the California native was born to personify.

Not only does he possess the formerly mentioned traits that make the former Alpha Flight ally iconic on both page and screen, but the actor has also made it clear in the past regarding his desire to take over from Jackman.

The Fast & Furious veteran's vocality regarding the part can only be a plus, describing the famous anti-hero as “One of my favourite comic book characters.” And “The kind of character that I love.” when in conversation with ScreenRant. The role would certainly be Eastwood’s biggest to date, and the actor will be keen to throw his hat in the mix when the casting calls come in the near future.
