Mike Myers signs up for 3 new movies

gfff.jpgWe haven't seen Mike Myers on our screens (though we have heard his voice numerous times) since the last Austin Powers movie 5 years ago but the actor seems ready to make a return. Variety are reporting of three new movies he is attached too, making that four live-action movies on his upcoming schedule. The biggest movie of the three will be the remake of the 1940's movie The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. The original was about a comic book writer with an over protective mother who likes to imagine himself on the great adventures that he writes, just to get away from it all. Of course, his dreams come true and he goes on a mysterious and dangerous adventure, but it's not all plain sailing! Myers is also set to play British rocker Keith Moon from The Who in the movie See Me, Feel Me: Keith Moon Naked for Your Pleasure. That movie is still at the script stages, with playwright Donald Margulies working on a re-write of his first draft. And lastly, Myers will star in How to Survive a Robot Uprising. Adapted from a comedy survival guide written by Daniel H. Wilson. The movie is also currently at the script stages with the writers of Reno 911: Miami churning out the latest draft. All this then to look forward to from Myers plus The Love Guru which will be his next film. Of course there's also that Dr. Evil spin-off from Austin Powers that Myers is also planning. Word is "early discussions" have taken place between Myers, director Jay Roach and New Line so stay tuned for that! source - coming soon
