1. Carter - The Bucket List

For a movie starring Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson and directed by Rob Reiner to be bad, it has to be really bad. The Bucket List opens with yet another Freeman narration, the type of which worked for The Shawshank Redemption, but this is no Shawshank Redemption. The film essentially consists of Nicholson's egotistical Edward and Freeman's grating Carter discussing the meaning of life as they extravagantly travel the world before their time on this planet is up. Not only does this movie completely misrepresent cancer sufferers, it's offensive as the director and writer treat the subject material with nonchalance and clearly don't know any person who has suffered a terminal illness. It's impossible to like either character as Edward throws away countless sums of money as if it's nothing and Carter chooses to spend his final months with a hedonistic stranger rather than his loving wife. Morgan Freeman has been in some embarrassing movies, but this is the only time he should be embarrassed.
