6. Batman: Hush
When Batmans rogues start acting entirely out of character, he begins to suspect that someone is leading them. He launches into a spiralling investigation in which nothing is as it seems and at the heart of which lies an entirely new villain: Thomas Elliot a.k.a Hush, a sociopathic childhood best friend of Bruce Wayne and a world-renowned neurosurgeon bent on destroying the Wayne family name.
How It Could Work: I see this storyline as a sort of happy medium between sticking entirely to Nolans continuity and forging an entirely new tone. On the one hand, in the book, Bruce Wayne reveals his true identity to Selina Kyle which was all but set up in TDKR and this could continue here. However, for Batmans rogues to be acting out of character, that would infer that this new Batman movie would have access to a rogues gallery and that we might see Killer Croc, Riddler and Harley Quinn in action. This idea hints at a larger, more comic-bookesque Batman world in which multiple villains are operating at once something I think Warner Bros. would be wise to set up on the road to a Justice League movie.
Potential Issues: Remember how hard the Fantastic 4 movie failed? What about Spiderman 3? Thats because they tried to establish too many characters at once. If you start sending Batman after random rogues in a movie, youve got to worry about establishing each one. This isnt so easy if you havent had 90 years to do so as the comic book itself has.
