20 Awesome Recent Horror Movies You Definitely Missed

10. Touch Me

Because we all need more psychosexual sci-fi horror comedies in our lives, here's Touch Me - an absolutely demented film about two friends (Olivia Taylor Dudley and Jordan Gavaris) who become addicted to the drug-like embrace of an alien, Brian (Lou Taylor Pucci), whose touch can cure all anxieties.

Surely one of the horniest horror movies of the 2020s so far, Touch Me touts a ridiculous concept and rides it hard for every drop of eyebrow-raising, "Did that actually just happen?" insanity.

It'd be so easy for such a provocatively weird film to go totally off the rails or lose grasp of its tone, but filmmaker Addison Heimann does a superb job of balancing humour with genuine tension.

Yet it's the hypnotic visuals and central performances - particularly those of Dudley and a totally go-for-broke Pucci - which pull the movie back from ever being too offputtingly odd for its own good.
