20 Recent Horror Movies That NEED Sequels

Though many understandably feel that Ready or Not 2: Here I Come took way too long to come out, it did nevertheless expand the nascent horror franchise's lore and leave some tantalising breadcrumbs for a potential threequel.

After all, even if Grace (Samara Weaving) and her sister Faith's (Kathryn Newton) story is genuinely done, the lawyer of demonic entity Le Bail - played so wonderfully by Elijah Wood - is still very much alive and presumably continuing to handle his client's ongoing affairs on Earth.

And there's always the possibility that a third film goes the prequel route to dive back into the origins of Le Bail's High Council.

While there are many worthy avenues for Ready or Not 3 to go, it ultimately doesn't seem terribly likely given the second film's lukewarm box office performance, grossing significantly less than its predecessor on a larger budget.

Yet as this sequel was still produced for an impressively low $14 million and will likely have a long tail on streaming, number three could still happen.
