Uwe Boll strikes again! And because he apparently isn't enough of a red flag, his new action thriller Citizen Vigilante stars Armie Hammer - who was of course exiled from Hollywood after numerous abuse allegations were levelled against him.

Nothing says "this film is going to be terrible" upfront than pairing one of the least artistically successful filmmakers of all time with a radioactive actor most of the industry won't touch.

Boll later claimed that the film, which centers around a vigilante fighting back against violent immigrants, had been effectively banned in his native Germany after it was refused an age certification for promoting vigilantism against immigrants.

Can you say "Yikes"?

Unsurprisingly Citizen Vigilante was panned by those few critics who even bothered screening it, most deeming it an offensively xenophobic, hateful thriller, all while distributor Quiver Distribution quietly dumped it on streaming the same day as its cursory theatrical release.
