While Dune is a lock for a nomination and basically the win, the other four nominees could really end up being any of the other nine shortlisted films, as the VFX branch has certainly made some unexpected picks in the past.

Going by guild support, The Matrix Resurrections, No Time to Die, Shang-Chi, and Spider-Man: No Way Home are your probable picks. Don't entirely count out Free Guy or Godzilla vs. Kong from making a surprise splash, though.
