Oscars 2024: 20 Insanely Early Predictions

The Best Picture frontrunner can change as late as mere days before the award is finally given out, so it's a tough one to call, but given the absurd pedigree behind it and the social relevance of its story, Killers of the Flower Moon is probably the safest movie you could bet on right now.

Scorsese never misses, and if he hits hard enough, could deliver a tightly wound thriller that plays incredibly well across the Academy's increasingly diverse membership.

Then again, who among us would've predicted Everything Everywhere All At Once to win Best Picture a year ago? So much can change in 12 months, but in this extremely early stage of the race, with practically every potential nominee sight-unseen, this is the one to beat.
