Quick survey question... how many actors or actresses can you name that, after receiving their award, acted like they totally deserved it? And if you can think of someone, did they ever win again? The true line seemed much more humble, and made it sound like the award came through blood, sweat, and tears, not just natural ability. This technique is used by lots of Oscar-loved actors. Tom Hanks has made an entire career out of being just a normal Joe who somehow gets awards and box office money piled on him by dump trucks daily.
